GRE

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) measures the verbal, mathematical and analytical writing abilities of students who want to undergo their graduate studies abroad as a standardized test. The test aims to assist graduate schools (in all fields other than business) in evaluating the potential of an applicant for advanced studies. In the US, most universities ask for GRE® scores while inviting applications for MS programs.

The exam is a computer-based test in its entirety, and no two students get an identical set of questions. The maximum score for the test is 340.
